The Greek New Testament, Produced at Tyndale House
A text of the Greek New Testament that is based on the most recent scholarship and is rooted in the earliest manuscript witnesses.
About
Produced at Tyndale House in Cambridge, England, this completely new edition of the Greek New Testament text was created under the oversight of editors Dr. Dirk Jongkind (St. Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge) and Dr. Peter Williams (Tyndale House, Cambridge).
A rigorously philological approach
While a few trusted Greek texts are in print, significant advances have been made in studies of New Testament manuscripts since a standard text was adopted by academics in 1975. The THGNT has been created under the oversight of editors Dirk Jongkind and Peter Williams. Together with a team of scholars from Tyndale House, they have taken a rigorously philological approach to re-evaluating the standard text — re-examining spelling and paragraph decisions as well as allowing more recent discoveries related to scribal habits to inform editorial decisions.
